What this site is
LikeMinded is a free route library, along with information about the LikeMinded app, which is currently in development. There’s no account system, no payment system, and nothing on this site currently costs anything or requires you to sign up for anything, other than the optional email waitlist.
Walking is at your own risk
This is the most important section on this page, so we’re putting it first.
The routes, distances, and practical notes on this site are based on our own experience of walking them, written up as accurately and honestly as we can. But conditions change — weather, path erosion, flooding, livestock, closures, and a hundred other things can make a route different on the day you walk it than it was on the day we did.
You’re responsible for your own safety when following any route on this site. That means:
- Checking current conditions and weather before you go
- Carrying appropriate kit, food, water, and navigation for the terrain and distance
- Making your own judgement about whether a route is suitable for you, your fitness, and anyone you’re walking with
- Not relying on this site as your only source of route information, especially for anything remote or challenging
We’re not liable for any injury, loss, or difficulty arising from following a route described on this site. If something about a route has changed since we wrote it up, we’d genuinely appreciate you letting us know so we can update it.
The app
Descriptions of the LikeMinded app on this site describe our current plans. The app is still being built, and features, timelines, and details may change before launch. Joining the waitlist is simply a request to be notified — it doesn’t create any kind of contract, guarantee access, or reserve you a place.
Using this site’s content
The writing, photography, and route write-ups on this site belong to us. You’re welcome to link to any page here, or to share a link with a friend who might find it useful. Please don’t copy substantial chunks of our write-ups onto another website or publication without asking us first.
Links to other websites
This site links out to third-party services — AllTrails, Komoot, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others — for route data and to show you where else to find us. We don’t control these sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
No guarantees
We do our best to keep this site accurate, working, and up to date, but it’s provided as-is, without any guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly current. Practical details on a walk (parking costs, opening times, and similar) can change after we’ve published — always worth a quick check if it matters to your plans that day.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you’re accepting the updated version.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
