For a long time these routes have lived in my head and a handful of Instagram posts. But I’ve had lots of people asking for links and details…
So I have started writing these up properly instead. Distance, parking, how muddy it honestly is, and where the good bit is. All of it free, no account, nothing to sign up for. Take a route, go and walk it, that’s what it’s here for. Enjoy!
The other half of this is what we’re building next: a free app for finding local people to walk with, so these routes stop being something you do alone. This is being worked on currently, but if you’re interested then take a look on the app page to hear more!

What we’re building
An app whose whole job is getting you off it.
We’re two brothers who grew up with the outdoors close to heart. Now we are building the thing we wanted when we were trying to find similar people to get outside with.
Connecting you to likeminded communities and real meetups, and getting you off your phone.
- No doom-scrollable feed. Nothing infinite, nothing algorithmic. A noticeboard, not a timeline.
- No followers, no streaks, no badges. Nothing designed to pull you back in.
- Free forever. Funded by local businesses backing meetups, never by your data.
- Somebody’s expecting you. Tap “it’s my first time” and the organiser looks out for you.
