An app whose whole job is getting you off it.
We’re two brothers who grew up with the outdoors close to heart. Now we’re building the thing we wanted when we were trying to find similar people to get outside with – free, local, and designed to be used as little as possible.
No doom-scrollable feed
Nothing infinite, nothing algorithmic, nothing that keeps going when you’ve reached the end. A noticeboard, built to get you off your phone.
No followers, no streaks, no badges
No counts to grow, no runs to protect, nothing whose whole purpose is bringing you back tomorrow.
No adverts, ever
Free forever, funded by local businesses backing individual meetups. Your data isn’t for sale because it isn’t collected.
How it works
Three taps from your sofa to a Sunday morning.
You tell it what you’re into and where you are. It shows you likeminded communities near you: hikers, coffee mornings, padel, wild swimming, book clubs — and each one posts the meetups it’s running.
Join the ones that look like you, RSVP to a meetup, and a group chat opens for that meetup and closes a few days after. Then you go, you meet people, and the app has done its job.
The part we care about most is a small toggle labelled “it’s my first time.” Tick it and the person running the meetup knows to look out for you – a message the night before, a face to find in the car park. Turning up alone is the hardest part of any of this. That toggle exists to make it not so.
